Sandalwood provides guests four (4) bedrooms and four and a half (4.5) baths. Guests entering the main level through a hallway featuring hardwood flooring and polished stone set in polished concrete. An open floor plan offers guests a spacious great room, dining area and chefs kitchen, beautiful wood floors, high ceilings, custom fireplace, and built-in bookcases.
The great room offers ample seating in front of the large hearth, with a large sectional, comfortable chairs and a uniquely designed wood table. Large windows provide views of the Pacific and two glass doorways offer access to the back patio. A 52” Misubishi TV connects guests to their desired media.
A wide hall leads from the Great Room to a Sun Room. Just long enough to accomodate a reading nook with comfortable cushions and a wet bar with wine refrigerators.
The sun room is accoutered with oak cabinetry, large windows and a built in seating nook. A large white maple table and five chairs are perfect for card games, board games or puzzling.
Sandalwood's back patio has views of the Pacific Ocean, a gas grill and gas fire-pit. An outdoor dining area seats eight (8) while four (4) additional seats surround the firepit.
The dining area easily seats eight (8) and a glass door leads from the dining area to a private patio with additional seating.
Sandelwood's kitchen offers a Thermidor Oven & four (4) Burner gas Range, a Sub-Zero Refrigerator and Freezer, microwave oven and a warming tray. A side pantry off the kitchen also provides office space with a built in desk. A back door leads through the mudroom with a half bath and additional storage to the garage.
The master suite boasts a private fireplace, separate glass enclosed shower, large bath tub and Jack-and-Jill sinks and his-and-hers closets. A new King bed with soft mattress and luxury linens welcomes weary guests at the end of the day. An overstuffed chair is strategically nestled by the corner windows, which offer peeks of the Pacific through the Orange and Pine trees. A 32” Vizio SMART TV provides guest with the ability to catch the late night shows or early news in the comfort of the bedroom.
A set of stairs from the main hallway leads up to a “Tree-house” like bedroom with amazing Ocean views, a new King Bed, luxury linens, dresser, chair and en suite full bath with glass enclosed shower.
Hardwood stairs lead down to the garden level. A sitting room with pull-out Queen sleeper sofa, upright Piano, 55” Samsung SMART TV and en suite full bathroom.
The hallway leads on to an apartment, with full kitchen complete with a gas range and oven that lead to the Game room. The game room is stocked with a Bumper Pool table that converts into a Card Table suitable for Poker, Gin Rummy, or any other game found in Hoyle. And my absolute favorite, and ACER Game Elf with 394 Classic Video Games.
A bedroom with a new King bed, luxury linens and a full bath complete with a bathtub and shower finish off the downstairs apartment. One doorway leads to a private, outdoor patio.
The expansive grounds slope away from Sandalwood, providing superb views of the Pacific while allowing one to feel comfortably secluded in the Del Monte Forest.

Monterey County Ordnance requires we collect Transient Occupancy Tax equal to 10.5% of rent. Some Vacation Rental websites do not support collection of T.O.T. In those cases, the Tax must be paid directly to Property Manager prior to or upon arrival for all Rentals shorter than 30 Days.
In order to maintain proper security for owners, guests and contractors, the exterior of this property has electronic surveillance equipment and the property owners may conduct monitoring and surveillance activities.
The deployment of electronic surveillance is limited to locations that do not violate the reasonable expectations
of privacy. Electronic surveillance shall not be implemented in situations where confidential or sensitive
information is likely to be recorded and distinguishable. Electronic surveillance shall not be installed inside
the home; however, doors to the exterior may be covered by electronic surveillance.
Monthly rental rates are discounted to reflect that guests booking reservations of more than 28 days are required to pay Gas, Electric and Water Utilities in addition to the quoted rental rate.
